Company: Zealous Host, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our")
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is Section 5 of our Terms of Service, published here as a standalone reference. It describes prohibited uses of the Zealous Host game server hosting Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination as described in Section 9 of our Terms of Service.
You agree not to use the Service to:
• Host, transmit, or distribute illegal content, or content that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others;
• Distribute malware, conduct denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, network abuse, or unauthorized intrusion attempts against any system;
• Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) or engage in phishing;
• Host content that is unlawfully harassing, threatening, obscene, or that exploits or endangers minors;
• Circumvent resource limits, security controls, or licensing restrictions of the Service or of any third-party software running on your Server;
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our prior written consent, except where a reseller plan is explicitly offered;
• Violate the terms of service, EULA, or anti-cheat policies of any game publisher whose software you run on your Server.
As described in Section 4.3 of our Terms of Service, "abuse" of a Server also includes, without limitation:
• Sustained CPU, memory, disk, or bandwidth usage that materially exceeds the plan's allocated resources or that degrades performance for other customers on shared infrastructure;
• Running cryptocurrency mining software, proxy/VPN relays, file-sharing hubs, or any workload unrelated to game hosting on the Server;
• Using the Server to launch, participate in, or relay denial-of-service attacks, port scans, brute-force login attempts, or other network attacks against any system;
• Uploading or distributing malware, illegal content, or content that infringes the rights of others;
• Excessive, automated, or bad-faith use of support channels, backup systems, or the billing panel intended to burden our systems or staff rather than to obtain legitimate service.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to take action, including suspension or termination, with or without notice, in cases of severe or repeated violations. A determination that a Server has been subject to abuse is made at our reasonable discretion based on server logs, resource-usage data, and other available evidence, and may also affect refund eligibility under Section 4 of our Terms of Service.
If you believe a Zealous Host customer is violating this AUP, contact us at abuse@zealous.host with as much detail as possible, including the server address, timestamps, and any supporting evidence.
